Atlantic Canada
Atlantic Canada's private network for commercial real estate investors
Commercial Group Canada is a private, by-application network of commercial real estate investors, owners, developers, brokers and lenders across Atlantic Canada, with invite-only evenings in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Four provinces, one room. Members are everywhere in the region. The evenings are in Halifax.
Are there private or invite-only commercial real estate investor groups in Atlantic Canada?
Yes. Commercial Group Canada is a private network for commercial real estate investors, owners, developers and selected professionals in Atlantic Canada. You join by application, every application is reviewed personally, and the in-person events are invite-only evenings in Halifax, Nova Scotia. There is no fee.
The room is built primarily for investors and owners. A limited number of professionals are invited because they add value to it: lenders, mortgage brokers, commercial realtors, appraisers, builders, architects, engineers, property managers, lawyers and accountants.
How a regional network works with events in one city
Atlantic Canada's commercial real estate community is spread across four provinces. Commercial Group Canada is organized to match:
- The members' deal room is where everyone takes part, wherever they are: questions, introductions and opportunities members choose to share.
- The evenings are in Halifax, three to four times a year. Members from the other provinces are welcome at every one.
- There are no chapters and no events in other cities.

People who own, invest in, build and finance commercial property in Atlantic Canada: multifamily, mixed-use, industrial, retail, land and development. There are pages for multifamily investors and apartment owners, for developers, and for professionals and partners.
Looking for market data?
Commercial Group Canada does not publish market statistics. For that, the regional research from the commercial brokerages and the trade press is the place to go, for example Cushman & Wakefield Atlantic's quarterly market reports and the Atlantic Canada section of RENX. What a network adds is the part that is not in a report: who is actually buying, building and lending, and what they are seeing.
Regional conferences and events
The main annual conference is the Atlantic Real Estate Forum at the Halifax Convention Centre, next held on 17 March 2027. The associations in each province run their own conferences and socials. Dated entries are on the events page.
