Commercial Group Canada is built primarily for investors and owners. A limited number of commercial real estate professionals are invited because they add value to the room, and partners help make the evenings possible.

Commercial real estate professionals in Atlantic Canada can apply to join. The group invites a limited number of the people investors and owners rely on to buy, build and finance.

Why the number is limited
What makes the room useful to an investor is that it is built around other investors and owners. That is why professionals are invited selectively: each is there because they bring something to the table, and the balance of the room stays with the people doing the deals.
The evenings are stand-up mixers built for conversation and relationships. They are not a seminar or a trade show.
How professionals apply

The group's founding sponsor is Indi Mortgage Commercial Division, a commercial mortgage brokerage in Bedford, Nova Scotia. It arranges financing for owners, developers and investors across Halifax and the province, including construction and pre-construction loans, CMHC MLI Select, bridge, takeout and refinancing.
The group's host, Riley Oickle, is an associate mortgage broker with Indi. Commercial Group Canada itself does not arrange mortgages or lend money, and members are under no obligation to use the sponsor's services. If you are looking for commercial financing, indicapital.ca is the place to start.

Professionals can join. The room is built primarily for investors and owners, and a limited number of professionals are invited because they add value to it: lenders, mortgage brokers, commercial realtors, appraisers, builders, developers, architects, engineers, property managers, lawyers and accountants.
